Once again, Brandon and his technicians came through! Alternator on my Toyota Highlander went bad on a Monday evening. I had the car towed there on Tuesday afternoon and by Thursday afternoon, it was finished! They even fixed my battery hold down brace and charged my dead battery. They went above and beyond! My radiator was damaged and I was out getting something else checked on my vehicle. They told me that my radiator was damaged. So I called the first shop that I googled, and the man that answered the phone had such a pleasant way of answering the phone, that it kind of threw me off. He introduced himself as Mike, I told him what was going on with my vehicle and he told me to bring it in the next day. But he went a step further and offered to stay on the phone until I got home safely. Which I didn't let him and he told me to call him when I got home. I have never experienced such genuine kindness in customer service in my life. Thank you Mike for going beyond your customer service! I have even sent my daughter to him as well.

I called in and made an appointment for my 17 y.o. daughter to take her car in to get an oil change. I spoke to Wren who made her appointment for later that afternoon and gave me an amount that it would cost for her oil change. My daughter arrived 5 mins before her appointment time and they were ready for her. She didn't have to wait long for her oil change and it was less than I was quoted earlier! I was given a price to replace my alternator which was a fair price. I had taken 3 of my cars there and was always satisfied with the work performed. I drive an older cargo van which started a leak which I knew was power steering. I appreciated that they were able to inspect it within the hour I had left it with them. While with them I also wanted the exhaust checked out. Their were a couple repairs they were able to complete rather than try to sell new exhaust system to me. That impressed me the most. Then I asked if they could take me to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car after I drop my car off to them there was an Enterprise that was literally .2 Mi down the road oh, they said no they were way too busy to help me. I called Tuffy Grove City spoke with Michelle and Jerry, I had no idea that they offered a courtesy vehicle for me to use. They save me 300 plus dollars for not having to get a rental car, they saved me 200 plus dollars by looking at my car for free and not charging me anything until they knew what was wrong. This was likely the best experience repairing a vehicle Ive ever had. Received a quote for basically full brake equipment replacement and a front bearing. Got a call about 30 minutes later telling me that it will actually be cheaper because the original quoted part had sensors my year didnt need. Great service just there. But thats was just the beginning. I am called same day to come to pick up my Jeep and when I get there to pay I find out that Ive been the victim of fraud and my checking account had all but been wiped clean. Brandon, the store manager worked with me to find a way to not only affordably fix my Jeep but helped me through an incredibly stressful time to find a resolution that allowed me to take my car home. I commissioned Tuffy to install a catch can in my 2019 Silverado. The installation should have been fairly simple but the instructions were quite complicated, with difficult to read diagrams and poorly taken pictures. Also the kit I purchased was incomplete. The installation ended up needing a couple of modifications to fit where placement was recommended. The tech has been awesome explaining to me everything he did and even returning the original parts to me so if I decide to remove the can the engine bay can be returned to manufacturer specs. I will definitely recommend Tuffy to everyone who mentions they need a mechanic.

I had gone to NTB to have my brakes done. Was told should I hear them making any noise, to return because my rotors are going bad. REALLYwhy would they put new brakes over bad rotors! I was furious with NTB. After continuing to have a pulsating issue with my brakes, I called TUFFY for an appointment to have them check them out AND to get an oil change. They showed me what was going on with the brakes and said I needed rotors and suggested I get new brakes as they go hand in hand but didnt push the issue as the brakes were not all that bad. I went ahead and had them done to avoid any warranty. I have NO MORE issues with the brakes, no pulsating, no noise! I can now stop without feeling Im going to hit someone in front of me!!! Tuffy tipped off my fluids and rotated my tires as well. Oh, did I say that Jerry was awesome? He was awesome! He was very professional, friendly and did not push any sales. I stop in your store for some minor repair on my truck. There was no other vehicles in the shop at the time. Then all of a sudden 4 cars showed up for oil changes. Sean the manager asked asked me if I minded waiting. I am retired so I said no go ahead. Sean left his front desk and he and Mike began to work as a team to get these vehicles done as soon as possible. Sean got the vehicle in and got them on the lifts and drained the oil out and the started rotating the tires. Mike then worked on installing the filter, letting the car down and installing the oil and checking the fluids. All the time Sean was answering the phone and helping customers as the came into the office. I have been a customer of this shop for over ten years and I have seen your management get of managers right and left. Many of the deserved it. Especially Randy, and the two latest female managers. I was unhappy with the moving of Jimmy and Michell. Now you have in my opinion a great manager in Sean and a great mechanic in Mike. I hope to God you do run them out. If you would give Sean a little help in the shop so he could work the front desk and up sell your products and make your company more money. Thanks for listening to my suggestions. I needed a couple of bulbs replaced so I pulled into Tuffy without having an appointment. I asked them if they would have time to replace the bulbs. I fully expected them to say no because they were completely full but without hesitation they said they had time to complete the repair. Within 5 minutes they were working on the repair and about 5 minutes after that I was on my way. I was impressed! I went in for 4 new tires, asked them to check an exhaust leak as well and they went above and beyond what I expected in service! The price they quoted me was the price I paid (honest quote), they found the solution to my exhaust problem. I had to get to a viewing for a family friend's funeral at 6pm and these gentlemen worked on my car past closing time to make sure I was able to get there. The manager, Keith, is a real friendly guy, and pays attention to the details to get the job done right (they cleaned out the rust in my wheels rims to make sure they'd seal properly). Not only that, but they put my spare back in the truck (and I had a ton of personal stuff in the trunk of the car) and put everything back in the trunk in a neat and organized manner. From my experience, this 5th Avenue Tuffy takes care of the customer with respect and integrity. I'll be coming back for any of my automotive needs in the future.

I took my van in to Tuffy because it was veering to the left. I was referred by the place I take the van to for other issues. I wasn't thrilled with taking there because it used to not be very good. As soon as I gave Mike, the owner or manager, the name of my normal place, the first thing he said was, "They're good people over there." I thought that was refreshing! They did the front end alignment but the van was still veering to the left so Mike gave me some options of what they could do. They rotated the tires to see if that fixed the problem. As I was sitting waiting for my van to be done, another customer came in for a problem with her brakes. Tuffy could not find anything wrong with them. I thought to myself, Wow! A place who doesn't just say, yeah, this, this & this is wrong with the brakes & we have to fix them for an exorbitant about of money. I came to Tuffy after I found a Groupon for an oil change. The Gahanna location was closest to me. I made my appointment online. I think I requested an appointment on a Monday or Tuesday and they were scheduling on the upcoming Friday or Saturday so not too long to get an appointment. Drop off was easy. They didn't give me any issue ab accepting the Groupon. My appointment was at 3pm. I was done right about 4pm. I was just waiting for them to tell me I need this that and this (making my bill very expensive. There was no such issue. I ended up paying an extra 4.50$ which was fine with me. Usually whenever I have anything done to my vehicle I'm given a laundry list of things that "need" done. I was so happy there was no pressure to do any additional services.
